The subject in this orientation session is proteins.
We're going to talk about both the role of proteins in exercise and recommended intake
of proteins.
I'm sure you're already aware that the protein needs of athletes are higher than
those of sedentary people, but I want to be sure you understand that they are not
as high as many of our clients typically imagine. In addition, proteins are only
one part of the picture. Our clients also need enough calories to ensure growth,
and they need an adequate resistance training program to stress the muscles.
