But don't despair, there
is hope. We already have a tried-and-proven process in the Air Force. It is called Instructional
Systems Development, or ISD. It is the official Air Force systems approach
for developing education and training.
Do you really have to use this approach, or is it just a helpful tool to take advantage of from time to time? The
answer is YES, you do have
to use ISD. AFH
36-22 directs you to use a systematic approach to Air Force instruction
and, since this is our official process, you must use it.
So, whether you are designing or instructing lessons, ISD is going to impact your efforts. |
